RUNDALL, Frank Montagu

RUNDALL, Frank Montagu. Madras 18.5.1851 — 25.4.1930. British Colonial Officer in India. Son of General Francis Hornblow R. (1823–1908), an irrigation engineer in India, and Fanny Ada Seton Burn. “Educated at Marlborough; joined the Berkshire regt., and Indian Staff Corps. Served in Upper Burma on Staff of General Lockhart, 1886-7; Chin-Lushai expedition, 1889-90; commanded in the Chin Hills and conducted operations against Kanhow Chins, 1891. D.S.O. Manipur expedition, 1891; Waziristan campaign, 1895-6; China expedition, 1900-1. Lt.-Colonel.” Retired as Colonel, then lived in London. Married Emily Rosa Bickersteth, three children.
