O’MALLEY, L. S. S.

O’MALLEY, Lewis Sydney Stewart. 1874 — 10.5.1941. British Civil Servant in India. Son of Bryan O’M., a minister, and his wife Frances. Educated in Norwich and Hertford College, Oxford (B.A.). Entered I.C.S. in 1898, worked as Magistrate and Collector in Bengal, then in General and Revenue Department. Retired 1924. C.I.E. Married 1900 Ida Sewell Prichard, one daughter.
