BELL, Cyril William Bowdler (from 1892 C. W. Bowdler). Hull, Yorkshire 1839 — Surrey 5.11.1918. British Officer. Son of John Pearson Bell and Lucy Louisa Bowdler. Colonel. Probably served in India, later Professor at Staff College. Also a noted musician (organist) and componist. Married Sarah Ann, at least one son.
