TOLBORT, Thomas William Hooper. 1842 — Dorchester 1883, when 41. British Civil Servant in India. I.C.S. examination in 1862. Served in Bengal. Retired for health reasons and returned to the U.K., but died soon. A friend of Thomas Hardy. Married 1875 Clare Cunliffe (d. 1879).
