GRIERSON, Mrs. (née Lucy Elizabeth Jean Collis). Dublin 7.7.1854 — Camberley, Surrey 19.9.1943. British (Irish) Woman in India, wife of —> G. A. Grierson (1851–1941). Daughter of Maurice Henry Fitzgerald Collis (1824–1869), M.D., a famous surgeon in Dublin, and Sarah Marcella Lyster Jameson. Married in 1880, lived 30 years in India with her husband, whom she probably helped in his scholarly work. No children.
