Then taught three years there, from 1959 at Anthropology Dept. of University of Wisconsin in Madison, retired 1988. Married 1943 —> Beatrice Diamond Miller (1919–1999), at least two sons and one daughter. Fieldwork with her among Tibetan refugees in West Bengal.
