WILKINS, William Joseph. Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham 1843 — 1902. British Missionary in India. Educated at Hackney College and Highgate. Ordained, went to India in 1867 and remained four years as pastor in Calcutta.  In service of London Missionary Society worked as teacher in Bhownipur College in Calcutta. Returned to England in 1884. In his books explained Hinduism as pantheism.
