TATE, George Passman. Bengal 22.7.1856 — Bengal 1941. British (Anglo-Indian?) Civil Servant in India. As Assistant Superintendent of the Surveyor General of India he conducted critical surveys in Afghanistan such as Baluch-Afghan Boundary Commission (1895-96) and Seistan Arbitration Mission (1903-05). In 1899-1900 in similar office in Hong Kong, then again in Afghanistan, retired 1911 and was then living in India. Married Charlotte Leonora Still.
