RIVERO GODOY, Francisco María. 18?? — 1???. Spanish Diplomat and Sanskrit Scholar. Grew up in Málaga. From 1877 the first Professor of Sanskrit at Madrid, but after few years resigned and became Spanish Ambassador in Mexico. Apparently knew very little Sanskrit.
