MILLER, William. Douglas, Isle of Man 7.4.1824 — 1???. Rev. British Baptist Missionary in Orissa. Ordained 1845, arrived at Cuttack still in 1845 with his wife (died 1848 or 1851). Working in Piplee, Pooree and Cuttack (Katak, still there in 1890). Died before his second wife, who died in high age in 1912. There was another Rev. W. Miller (1838–1923) in India, arrived 1862, but he belonged to Madras.
