STONEHOUSE, John. 17?? — 18??. British Civil Servant in India. In 1780 Assistant to Collector in Shawabad, in 1795 Collector in Medinipur, soon in Midnapur, soon in Midnapur, then judge in Calcutta and from 1802 in Benares.
