FINEGAN, Jack. 11.7.1908 — Oakland, Calif. 15.7.2000. U.S. Archaeologist and Scholar of the Bible and Religion. Professor at Iowa State University in Ames, then Professor of New Testament History and Archaeology at the Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, California. Also a minister of University Christian Church.
