BAHM, Archie John. Imlay, Michigan 21/22.8.1907 — Albuquerque, New Mexico 12.3.1996.U.S. Philosopher. Son of John Samuel Bahm and Lena Kohn. B.A. 1929 Albion College, Michigan. M.A. 1930 and Ph.D. 1933 University of Michigan.  Both Wikipedia and Prabook explain that he was “Acting Chair of the University of New Mexico’s Department of Philosophy from 1954 to 1955 and again from 1964 to 1965” in Albuquerque and member of numerous committees to support and promote the exchange of philosophical ideas. Fortunately now (2025) prabook adds that he was Professor of Philosophy there from 1948, emeritus 1973. In  1955-56 at University of Rangoon and 1962-63 at Banaras Hindu University as Fulbright Scholar. Married Luna Parks Bachelor, one son and one daughter.
