One page in the popups.uliege.be gives name, life years and connection with the same museum (without mentioning India or his profession), another has the same years and locates him in Chêne-Bourg, canton Geneva. E. Bungener, Filiations protestantes. 2. Suisse. 1, p. 123. (in montmollin.ch) knows B. de C. born Singapore 27.10.1929. son of engineer François-Pyramus de Candolle (1903–1942) and Gabrielle Pictet (1908–1987), a lawyer, married 1958 Hedwig Groening (b. 1926), two sons and one daughter (but again, India not mentioned).
