JOHNSON, John James. 18?? — ?.12.1917. Rev. British Missionary in India. Worked in Benares, for Church Missionary Society. He was known of his excellent command of Sanskrit and called “Pandit Johnson”.

Publications: Edited and translated Rāmānuja’s Vedāntatattvasāra in Pandit 9-11, 1887-90.
