ERHART, Adolf. Náměšt’ nad Oslarov, okr. Třebíč 31.5.1926 — Brno 11.8.2003. Czech IE Linguist. In 1945-49 studies at Brno (under Machek), then worked as a teacher. In 1965 Machek’s Assistant, from 1988 Professor at Brno, retired 1993. Married Olga Erhartová (1950–2019), a Romanist. Scholar of IE linguistics in the tradition of Zubatý, Hujer and Machek.
