SCHERMAN, Christine

SCHERMAN, Christine (née Reindl). 2.12.1865 — Hanson, Mass. 17.3.1940. German Anthropologist, specialist of Burma. From 1889 wife of —> L. S., often participated in his work, especially as professional photographer. In 1910-11 they travelled together in Ceylon, Burma and India. She was already ill when they escaped Nazi regime to the U.S.A. in 1939 and died soon. They had one son and three daughters.
