From 1887 teacher (Oberlehrer) of Latin at gymnasium (Katharinen-Schule) and PD of Comparative Grammar at St.Petersburg University. Still mentioned as gymn. teacher and PD (of Sanskrit) in Intern. Taschenbuch für Orientalisten 2, 1910, 159 (as Mäckler).
