O’MALLEY, Lewis Sydney Stewart. Flitcham, Norfolk 23.10.1874 — Oxford 10.5.1941. British Civil Servant in India. Son of Bryan O’M., a minister, and Frances Keppel. Educated in Norwich and Hertford College, Oxford (B.A.). Entered I.C.S. in 1898, worked as Magistrate and Collector in Bengal, then in General and Revenue Department. Retired 1924. C.I.E. Married 1900 Ida Sewell Prichard (b. 1873), one daughter.
