RÖSSING, Hans. Duisburg 13.12.1929 — 7.5.2001 (when 71). German Linguist (Celtologist). Son of an engineer. Educated in Duisburg and Weilburg. Studies at Marburg from 1950, Ph.D. there 1958. From 1961 Assistant at Marburg. PD Marburg 1969, from 1971 Professor of comparative linguistics at Marburg, retired 1995. Married Monika Hager (then Professor of German at Marburg as M. Rössing-Hager).
