CARDONA, Giorgio Raimondo. Rome 7.1.1943 — Rome 14.8.1988. Italian Linguist. Professor in Rome. Son of Giacinto Cardona. Studied at La Sapienza in Rome. From 1968 Assistant and 1980-88 ord. Professor of Linguistics at La Sapienza. A specialist of sociolinguistics and ethnolinguistics.
