In 1936-38 taught at Leningrad Oriental Institute and 1938-41 in Committee for Educating Cadres; in 1939-40 and 1945-56 at Leningrad University. In 1942-45 in Kislovodsk and Tashkent. In 1964 and from 1968 taught at Institute of Oriental languages in Moscow.
