BADLEY, Brenton Hamline

BADLEY, Brenton Hamline. Monmouth, Indiana 27.4.1849 — Lucknow 20.11.1891. U.S. Missionary in India. Educated at Simpson College and Garrett Biblical Institute. Came to India as Methodist missionary in 1872 and worked there until his death. In 1876 one of the founders and then secretary of Indian Sunday School Union. Married, father of Brenton Thoburn Badley (1876–1949), also a missionary in India and author of several books on mission.
