CLINT, Leonidas J. St.Anns Soho, Middlesex 1812 — Dewsbury, Yorkshire 21.7.1897. Rev. British Teacher in India. Graduated M.A. from Trinity College, Cambridge. Principal of La Martinière College in Lucknow c. 1845-54, then of Krishnanagar College in Bengal. Returned to England in 1857 he was ordained deacon 1859 and priest 1861. Served as curate in several places (Lampey, Hereford, Presteigne & Brockhampton) and 1874-93 vicar of Lingen, Herefordshire. Married Mary Dunlop (1822–1892), at least one daughter and one son.
