DANN, George James. Oxford 1.7.1857 — 11.7.1941 (ancestry.com London 12.7.1942). British Baptist Missionary in India. Son of Rev. James Dann (1837–1924), a Baptist minister, and Mary Anne Ruffell. Went to India in 1884 as missionary. In 1911 in Bankipore (Bihar). Retired 1922 or 1923, taught then Greek and Hebrew at Baptist Mission House in London. Married with Hannah Hurwood (1852–1942), four children.
