HETAGUROV, Lev Aleksandrovič. Cmi Terskoj obl., Sev.-Oset. A.S.S.R. 2.(15.)12. 1901 — Saratov 12.3.1942. Russian Iranian Scholar. Son of a physician. Graduated 1930 from Faculty of Languages and Material Culture in Leningrad. Kand. filol. nauk 1936, Docent 1938. Taught at Leningrad University in 1936-42. Doktorant 1938-40, naučyj sotrudnik at Inst. Vostokovedenija 1920-42, Professor (zav. kafedroj) of Iranian 1941-42. Married, a son and a daughter.

Publications: At least 10 items, e.g.: kand. diss. Kategorija roda v iranskih jazykah. MS. Lg. 1936, a specimen with the same name in Yčënye zapiski L.G.U. 20, serija filol. nauk 1, 1939, 50-97.
